Quality Construction for Performance & Durability
QCA Spas have been proudly made in the heartland of the USA in Bettendorf, Iowa since 1966. We are constantly striving to incorporate the latest innovations into every QCA Spa. We conduct on-going customer research and thermoform shell development in order to design more durable components than any other spa/hot tub manufacturer. QCA Spas, Inc. is dedicated to building beautiful spas that last, so that you may enjoy them for many years to come! |

Spa Shells
Durabond |
| QCA Spa shells are manufactured with a patented, four-layer strengthening process called DuraBond. This exclusive system combines the beauty of Lucite-Xtra acrylic with a layer of ABS for strength and integrity. A layer of double-strengthening material called IsoBond is then applied. IsoBond has all the strength of a fiberglass resin shell, with half the weight, and without the environmental concerns. The manufacturing process is completed with a thick layer of insulating polyurethane foam. |
| Lucite-Xtra |
| Lucite-Xtra cast acrylic is a non-porous material that resists stains such as those from build-up of lotions and body oils, which can ruin non-acrylic spas. Its durable surface resists chipping, cracking, and denting. Lucite-Xtra keeps its shine despite sanitizing chemicals, high temperatures, and exposure to sunlight. No polishing or waxing is necessary to maintain its appearance - just a sponge |
Spa Cabinets
Weather Guard
| Weather Guard is the industry's best, maintenance-free spa cabinet. Weather Guard is available in two colors: Coastal Grey or Redwood, and will not fade or discolor even when exposed to the effects of outside weather and ultraviolet light. Unlike other poly-plastic cabinets in the market today that are thin and flimsy resulting in warping and fading, a QCA Spa Weather Guard cabinet is constructed of strong and durable cellular vinyl PVC that will not crack, splinter or peel. This material is similar to high-end vinyl windows for your home. And since it replaces the wood of most spa cabinets, Weather Guard is termite, moisture, and rot resistant and 214% more rigid than wood. Weather Guard is energy efficient too - 62% more than traditional wood! |
Polar Insulation
| QCA Spas are built to withstand harsh, northern winters. Our system incorporates a foam-insulated cabinet and a thick layer of polyurethane foam applied to the shell. Unlike other insulation systems that loosely wrap insulation around the shell, QCA Spas, Inc. sprays our insulating foam directly onto the shell surface to ensure full contact to all surfaces, thereby sealing the cabinet from any outside air infiltration. As a bonus of this excellence in insulation techniques, the ambient air trapped between the two layers provides an insulating barrier to help maintain spa water temperature. |
Energy Saver System
| Unlike full-foam spas that need to vent off motor-generated heat, the heat produced by the mechanical equipment is not vented away in a QCA Spa - it is contained, recycled, and reused. As water moves through the lines toward the jets it draws air with it (an action termed venturi). This air is taken from the pocket created by the Polar Insulation on the shell and cabinet. Not only is this warm air recycled and used to warm the water in your jets, but it also helps to maintain the water temperature - saving you money! |
Quality Components
Soft Touch Electronic Controls |
| All spa functions are conveniently located at your fingertips. Our soft-touch electronic control center allow you to customize your hydrotherapy massage at the touch of a button. Our control center is fully programmable, with interactive, animated icons for easy, at-a-glance legibility. This infinite controllability gives you a wide range of hydrotherapy - from relaxing to invigorating and everything in between. |
Manifold Plumbing |
| Other spa/hot tub manufacturers use linked, jet-to-jet plumbing systems which result in the first jet in the line being very powerful and the last jet being weak. QCA Spas manifold plumbing is designed to balance water pressure distribution and reduce the number of plumbing joints to maximize water flow. This systems allows everyone in your spa to enjoy equal jet power - not just the person sitting in front of the first jet in the line! |
| QCA Spas, Inc. also constructs our plumbing system from two types of pipes - one designed specifically for air, and the other designed specifically for water. When other spas/hot tubs are built with the same piping throughout, leaks can develop over time. At QCA Spas, Inc. we don't cut corners to build a cheaper spa/hot tub - we build our spas to last! |
Pumps, Blowers, & Heaters |
| To maintain maximum water flow, QCA Spas, Inc. selects high-flow water pumps based on rate of gallons per minute. When paired with our manifold system, each jet has equal water pressure. Our Turbo Charge air-induction system supercharges the water with warm air using a silent, 2-horsepower, 3-speed air turbo pump. Turn the controller and watch your spa erupt! Unlike other air blowers on the market, our system is silent and adjustable to ten different levels with the touch of a button. For greater reliability, QCA Spas are equipped with 4 kW energy-efficient, non-pressure switch heaters. |
Top Load Filter & Built-In Chemical Feeder |
| QCA Spas are equipped with top-load filtering systems that are easy to remove for cleaning. The adjustable-rate chemical feeder cartridge is easy to fill with your favorite sanitizer. Unlike other spas, the top-load system allows you to remove the filter without dragging it through your clean spa water. QCA Spas feature filters utilizing Microban Spa Filter Media. Microban is an EPA registered and approved material that fights bacteria and inhibits the growth of dangerous microbes in spa water. |
Aquapure Spa Sanitizing System |
| All QCA Spas can be equipped with the Aquapure Spa Sanitizing System. This system utilizes Corona Discharge (CD) ozone technology and injects it directly into the spas plumbing system to kill bacteria in all water lines. The CD Ozone is then distributed to the main body of spa water through the jets. CD Ozone used in combination with a residual amount of Chorine or Bromine can effectively provide a clean, safe bacteria- free spa and dramatically reduce chemical use. The excess CD Ozone that rises to the spa water surface is recycled by the spas' built-in ozone recovery system, which maximizes the sanitation in the spa. |
