LEN GORDON CONTROL - FF-1094F 240V W/0 BUTTON - 910105-001
Question about this product:
I have an old Len Gordon Spa Controller FF-13. It uses two stepper
relays and is actuated by pressing an air button on the spa. It has four
positions on the serial cycle.......off, pump and air, air only, pump only.
It controls a 220V two speed pump and a 220V Blower. It works with an
external timer that turns the low speed off and on at set times.
The heater is a separate gas heater that works on water pressure from the
pump.
I need to replace that controller. Do you have something that would work?
Answer:
This is the replacement for the FF-13, is the FF-1094F 240V
Question:
What does the term "Neutral required" and "No Neutral required" mean?
"Neutral required" basically means there is something in the unit itself
that is running on 110v. In the case of the FF1094, the relays inside the
unit are switched on and off using a 110v circuit. So even if all you are
planning to run are 220v pieces of equipment, that unit STILL needs a white
neutral wire as well as your two hot lines and a ground to run at all.
"No neutral required" means everything in the unit, including the coil
voltage of the relays themselves, are 220v. Based on your description, I
believe this is what you are looking for. The FF1094F doesn't require a
neutral to run.
