Pool Heat Pumps

Heat pumps are an exceptionally energy efficient and environmentally friendly way to heat your swimming pool. Heat pumps use less energy than conventional oil, gas, or electric heating systems and save you money. Heat Pumps extract heat from the air around it, intensify it with a compressor, and deliver it to the water. Cold air is exhausted away from the pool. Simply put, heat pumps use electricity to capture heat and move it from one place to another. For a heat pump to operate effectively, the temperature outside should be 45°F or higher. The higher the temperature, the more heat can be extracted and converted.
