"I just recieved my Nitro and have used it one time is all, but it works great! It is the coolest thing to watch. It climbs to the water line with ease, cleans both the deep and shallow ends great. I didnt realize the amount of sand and debrea that settles in the bottom of pools. It is really neat to watch operate. I recieved mine in less than a week (labor day weekend too) So far so good, I really like it. I dont know how the more expensive cleaners work in comparison but I couldnt amagine what more it could do unless you want to operate it with a remote, which might be cool but NOT worth the extra cash to me. GREAT PRICE, PRODUCT, SHIPPING SO FAR."

"I received this unit only two days after ordering it and was pleasantly surprised that the cleaner just needed to be upacked and placed in the pool before it started cleaning! Very well I might add. I was a little worried since I have a vinyl pool that is an above ground pool dugout to 7.5‘ deep and it said it was for inground pools but the sides of our pool are quite steep so I figured I needed the wall climber. It works great! We live on a ranch, (very dusty), so the load that it takes off the pool filter is very important. The pool is cleaner now and filter needs to be cleaned much less."

"Well so far, so good. The Nitro arrived just a few days after the order was placed and the only assembly required is for the included caddy. The cleaner unit itself is ready to go and after reading the succinct instruction manual I was ready to send the little Nitro Wall Climber on its first tour of duty. The pool was shamefully dirty due to several recent storms which washed in soil run-off and other debris and at first I planned to manually vacuum the pool before sending in the Nitro. I then thought what the heck and decided to let the Nitro take a crack at the pool as it was even though I knew it would be quite a challenge for the little cleaner. It took about two minutes to get the Nitro ready for service and in no time it was prowling the murky depths in its purely random pattern. I checked on it now and again and never actually saw it climb a wall but the few clean swaths here and there proved that it had. At the end of its automatic three hours cycle I was surprised at just how well it had cleaned a very dirty pool. True, there were still a few untouched areas but overall it was a great improvement and I was able to finish with the regular vacuum with little effort. Removing the collection bag is fairly simple and after a few minutes with the garden hose the bag and unit were clean and ready for storage on the caddy (be sure to clean inside the housing and not just the bag). A second cleaning of a much less dirty pool a few days later provided even better results. I’ll need to put the Nitro through its paces several more times but overall I am very pleased and hopeful that it will provided reliable service for at least a few years while taking some of the tedium out of pool maintenance. The cats certainly enjoy watching the new pool monster as we now call it and it really hustles from one end of the pool to the other."

"I bought this pool cleaner because it looked affective and cheap( compared to all of the other brands). Anyway when i got it we had just opened our pool and the bottom was full of leaves, worms, and dead bugs. very very nasty. I set it in the pool on the 3 hour cycle and it worked wonders. After about 12 hours and 40 gallons of chlorine later that little beast had my pool mint! my pool is 44ft x 16ft and it has no problem cleaning the whole thing. I would highly recommend it. When it comes time to cleaning out the bag your always astonished. no matter how clean the pool looks, the robot seems to find even the smallest particles of dirt. it‘s an A++++ machine. "

"I bought this cleaner on the basis of other readers reviews. While our local pool company had it in supply, it was a new product and they had no comments yet on it.
To get to the point - we are still hand vaccuming our pool. Why? While we see the thing working the most it seems to pick up is the leaves at the deep end and while it does go up walls, I‘m not sure why as we still end up brushing dirt off the walls and floor when it‘s finished.
It can‘t climb the incline in the pool either. It gets within a foot of getting to the top and entering the shallow end when it turns and goes back down accomplishing nothing.
I wish I‘d saved my money and continued doing as I‘m having to now. Vaccuming ourselves may be time consuming but it‘s a heck of a lot cheaper than wasting our time with this thing."
