Our most dependable automatic pool cleaner easily connects to a dedicated pressure line. Powered by double jets and a separate booster pump, the Polaris 280 is suitable for all in-ground pools. It sweeps, scrubs, and vacuums the bottom, walls, and steps of the pool. It also traps large debris like leaves and pebbles in its own filter bag.

Pressure refers to the power of clean water returning to your pool. Some pools are designed with a dedicated pressure cleaner line that is used exclusively by a pressure-side cleaner. A separate booster pump is used to power the Polaris 480, 380, 280 and 180 cleaners independently from the rest of the pool’s circulation system. The Polaris 360 operates on a dedicated pressure line, but does not require a booster pump.

Suction refers to the power of water being drawn out of the pool into the filter system. Some pools are designed with a dedicated suction cleaner line that is used exclusively by a Polaris 340 and 140 suction-side cleaners.

The Polaris Vac-Sweep 280 is designed for all in-ground pools and runs off a booster pump.
