These automatic controls allow you to manage the temperature, water level, lighting, chemical balance, and filtration system of your pool and spa. Controls are compatible with pools, spas, or pool and spa combinations with shared equipment.

Hayward offers four different base systems which can be configured in a variety ways for different types of systems.
- Pool and Spa Combination - Pool and spa share the same set of equipment (i.e. one heater, one filter, etc.)
- Dual Equipment Systems - Pool and spa that have separate equipment (i.e. two heaters, two filters, etc.)
- Pool Only or Spa Only Systems – Ideal for stand-alone pools or spas
The base systems can be customized to control the different types of equipment you have for your pool and spa. All the customization can be done either through the control panel or a wired or wireless remote control.
- Solar heating - the systems can be modified for solar control with a solar control kit (AQL-SOL-KIT-2P)
- Two Speed Pumps - these systems can be configured to control two-speed pumps using standard relays (the system uses two relays to control a two speed pump)
- Saltwater Chlorination - can be added to the system
Once you select the base system, then you choose the accessories such as a wireless or wired remote, and actuators separately.
