Pentair Whisperflo Pool Pump Review

Pentair Whisperflo pool pump Staying true to the tradition of making reliable and efficient swimming pool pumps, the Pentair Whisperflo pump stays true to its roots. Being engineered from high-temperature, thermoplastic materials, the Whisperflo can withstand extreme heat and resist corrosion. The motor itself is built using a stainless steel motor shaft and sealed bearings, so no need for lubrication. The pump sits on a rust proof commercial grade motor frame, this are all the makings of a rock solid pool pump.
You would think that with all this industrial reinforcement, the pump would be a loud, noisy machine but that’s absolutely wrong. The Whisperflo is so quiet you can compare it any other high performance pump and see that the Whisperflo lives up to its name.

An ideal turnover rate is 8 – 10 hours so in this example were going to look for an 8 hour turnover time. Once we have your desired turnover time we need to find the minimum flow rate to achieve that turnover time. The equation for finding your GPM (gallons per minute) is:

Pool size (gallons) / Turnover time / 60 = Minimum flow rate...
