Vac-Alert SVRS Demonstration Video

This is a demonstration video of how the Vac-Alert SVRS works. It shows how fast the Vac-Alert goes into action if there is a entrapment, this is a great video if you were considering purchasing a Vac-Alert because it shows how it really works.

never saw what simulated the drain being covered,i.e. entrapment, was the drain open, then covered and I just missed that part. wouldn't this demo be better with the svrs valve being open, the drain suddenly being covered, then the bypass action taking place????

In the video they use a ball valve to simulate if someone were blocking the water flow to the pump. Once he turns the valve, it would be as if a child was trapped on the drain cover and water would not be able to flow which would activate the vac-alert. I hope this makes more sense!
