Polaris PB4-60 and PB4-60Q Comparison |
| |
The Polaris PB4-60 and the PB4-60Q booster pumps are both great pumps produced by one of the leading pool supply equipment manufacturers. One of the main differences between these 2 pumps is that the PB4-60Q is 28% quieter than comparable pumps on the market. With the price difference of the PB4-60Q being around $20 more than the PB4-60, it's worth the little extra for the features that you get. We always recommend staying within a manufacturer when buy equipment or replacement parts, so if you have a Polaris 280, 380, 480, or 3900 either of these pumps would be a great choice.

| Conclusion: |
| If you are on a strict budget (which right now i wouldn't blame you), then the PB4-60 is a great choice. But if you can spend just a little bit more then i would definitely go with the Polaris PB4-60Q, just for the fact that I would prefer a quieter pump with more adjustability and ease of use. Polaris has you covered both ways. |
