AquaJet Robotic Pool Cleaner Review

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have the power of jet propulsion in your pool? Have you ever wanted more out of your pool cleaner? Well stop the guessing because today we have the AquaJet robotic pool cleaner.

Unlike other pool cleaners the AquaJet utilizes a patented and reliable Jet Drive Propulsion system that requires no gears, belts, turbine, booster pump, or filter connections. This Jet Drive Propulsion uses a single built-in pump to perform tasks like hydro-scrubbing, vacuuming, filtration, circulation and drive.

AquaJet robotic pool cleaner front view

Jet Drive Propulsion

The Jet Drive Propulsion works by taking water that is vacuumed through two large intake valves underneath the cleaner at a rate of 80 gallons per minute and then immediately ejecting the water out of the top. The forced out water drives the cleaner in a forward and reverse direction. Utilizing the Jet Drive Propulsion the AquaJet is able to clean most pools in less than an hour, and larger pools in less than two.

AquaJet propulsion system

Hydro-Scrubbing Capabilities

This cleaner is also equipped with hydro-scrubbing capabilities. The AquaJet has an exclusive high-pressure impeller on the top of its motor that shoots filtered water through dual tubes on the bottom sides to pressure wash sand and debris from the pool. Everything is then vacuumed into the internal filter. The hydro-scrubbing will ensure that every corner of your pool, even those hard to reach areas like porous pool surfaces, will be cleaned thoroughly.

AquaJet hydro-scrubbing tube

More Features

Like other robotic pool cleaners the AquaJet comes equipped with a large capacity filter bag. The 34-quart capacity filter bag is reusable and can trap all kinds of large or small debris. Just like a pool filter the bag is able to filter down to 2 microns, which means that sand, silt, and algae won’t be a problem. You’ll be ensuring the healthiest swimming water possible.

Another great thing about this robotic cleaner is that it has an auto guidance system that systematically changes the turning radius and also includes NeverStuck rollers built into its design. These rollers protect the undercarriage and allow it to roll over raised obstacles. Combined with the non-marring, individually free rotating wheels, the AquaJet is able to glide along any surface from the floor to the waterline. These wheels make it so that you don’t have to worry about wear-and-tear associated to parts like brushes or pads found on other pool cleaners

The best part about this cleaner is that it will save you money! This cleaner can save you money on electricity, water, and pool chemicals. You’ll also be saving money on the cleaner itself. The AquaJet costs half as much as most robotic pool cleaners! Who doesn't want to save money?

As you can see the AquaJet Robotic Pool Cleaner has many great features to love. So get the power of jet propelled cleaning in your pool today!

Natural Chemistry Salt Water Magic FOUNDATION
CompuPool Turbo Salt Cell

Why Use FOUNDATION?

You have to remember that the only function of a salt chlorine generator is to generate chlorine. Using the Salt Water Magic FOUNDATION addresses the other important needs when maintaining proper water chemistry. This will support your salt chlorine generator as well as help it to run efficiently.

The Natural Chemistry Salt Water Magic FOUNDATION uses a special blend of natural minerals and enzymes to give you consistently better water quality with less maintenance.

What's in FOUNDATION?

One element of Natural Chemistry Foundation a phosphate remover. You’re probably asking why worry about phosphates? Well phosphates are one of algae’s limiting nutrients. Algae are plants that require nutrients to grow. If you can eliminate your phosphate levels you’ll have no chance for algae growth in your pool. Another benefit is that it will help prolong the life of your salt cell.

Other key elements are natural enzymes. These natural enzymes reduce organic build-up on your generator and filter media. This will help reduce organic build-up on your pool’s surface as well as help minimize maintenance on your pool.

The Natural Chemistry Salt Water FOUNDATION also contains a metal deactivator. This metal deactivator protects pool surfaces from staining and helps prolong the life your salt chlorine generator.

This is one of the newest additions to the Hayward pool cleaner family and as with many of their products the SharkVAC is packed full of killer features.

It also has the ability to calculate the size of the pool and program itself to clean in the most energy efficient cleaning path. As with other robotic cleaners the SharkVAC doesn’t require any extra equipment to operate. This cleaner runs independently from your pool’s filter and pump. You can just throw it in and let it do what it does best. Chomp down on dirt and debris!

Del Ozone SO vs MCD-50 Ozonator comparison

DEL Ozone SO CD Ozone Generator DEL Ozone MCD-50 Ozone Generator
DEL Ozone SO CD Ozone Generator DEL Ozone MCD-50 Ozone Generator
Why to consider the DEL Ozone SO Corona Discharge (CD) Ozone Generator?
When considering an ozone generator for your spa, there are a few characteristics should be at the top of your check list. Ozone output is an important focal point because the more you have the more chemicals you can displace. The DEL Ozone SO Corona Discharge (CD) unit produces 50 mg/hour which is considered "high output" compared to most generic spa ozone generators on the market.
Reliability is another important factor to consider, and the DEL Ozone SO unit can be relied upon for 3-5 years (depending on hours/day operating). If you live in an area with high humidity or extreme temperatures, this robust unit is a preferred ozone system.
The DEL Ozone SO CD unit, because of the high-output of ozone, is best at cleaning your spa water. Ozone’s powerful oxidizing strength flexes its muscles when fighting viruses, bacteria, yeasts, molds, oils and other interesting organics. With less contaminant, your spa surface stays cleaner, your filter works more efficiently, and your water chemistry no longer seems like a homework assignment.
Ozone is 100% natural, biodegradable, eco-friendly and a healthy alternative to excessive chemicals and additives.
What are the main differences between the DEL Ozone SO CD Ozone Generator and the DEL Ozone MCD-50 unit?

  • The SO units are ONLY 220V
  • The SO units and MCD-50 produce same ozone output, which is 50 mg/hour
  • The SO units do NOT have an LED indicator light that fails with the electrode. They stop buzzing, and the water quality declines, when the unit fails.
  • The SO units do NOT have Renewal Kits available; therefore consider them replaceable
Does the DEL Ozone SO CD Ozone Generators and the DEL Ozone MCD-50 units install the same?
Yes, both the units install the same.
What is the expected life span on the DEL Ozone SO units?
The expected life span is 3-5 years depending on run time of the unit.
Is there a renewal kit like with the Spa Eclipse?
No, there is not a renewal kit available for the SO units.
Is the DEL Ozone SO a universal replacement and can it be used in any type of spa? Is there any type of spa it shouldn’t be used with?
It easily supports spas up to 1,500 gallons and the only factor that would prohibit it from going on EVERY hot tub is the plug and the fact that it’s 220V. Also, if they have a CDS-16, it is good to find out if they have any extra inches around the CDS-16.
