Our HOSE filter removes or greatly reduces thousands of common water contaminants and hazards including chlorine, lead, arsenic, mercury, DDT (and other pesticides), hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell), VOC’s & organic contaminants, dissolved metals and scale causing minerals.

HOSE Filter Instructions:

• Flush garden hose before use to remove sediment and contaminants.
   
• Attach filter to hose and flush for one minute until water runs clear.
   
• Can be used effectively at either end of the garden hose. Can be used with a sprayer attachment or sprinkler with a barely noticeable reduction in flow rate.
   
• Save end caps for storage. STORE WET! (do not allow filter to dry out as the media will harden and become ineffective - if end caps are lost, store in a plastic baggy in refrigerator)
   
• Works best with a flow rate of 2GPM or less. For highly contaminated water, reduce flow rate to 1GPM
   
• If flow rate slows, back-flush filter to remove sediment buildup. If it’ not possible to back-flush filter, place female end in a bucket of clean water and shake to loosen blockage from media.
   

Test Hose Filter for exhaustion:
attach the unit to a source of chlorinated water and test the output with a chlorine test strip, readily available at any pool and spa supply store.
 

Chlorine level should read at or near 0.
 

Your Hose Filter will last between 8,000 and 40,000 gallons, depending on care, use and and initial water contamination.

We tested this out on a ten year old spa that had a massive case or ring around the collar! We had been scrubbing and scrubbing to no avails and were almost ready to resort to a pumice stone and a chipper when we tried this product.

This is not your heavy chemical soup recipe that most spas get laced with. This is not only a water cleaner, balancer, and softener, but a pipe and spa cleaner all in one: chemical-free! The usual harsh chemicals are replaced by minerals, natural plant enzymes and coconut extracts, cleaning the entire spa and system, and softening and cleaning the entire spa and system, and softening and cleaning the water as well.

We put the Spa Cleaner into the water and let it swirl and jet for several hours. This not only removed most of the ring around the collar completely, but cleaned out the entire residue from the piping. Next, came one bottle of the Monthly cleaner and some more swirling and scrubbing, the water was pH and alkaline balanced, and the water was soft and sparking!

We popped some filter booster in the filter area and upped the capability of the filter to do its job. We polished the top of the cover with Cover Cleaner and after just a few milliliters of CleanWater Blue he jumped into the best spa experience that he had ever had before!
