More Information

The Nature 2 Clearwater LM3-24 Salt Water Chlorinator is designed for pools up to 24,000 gallons, and uses pure salt to create soft and silky water. Its power center features a comprehensive display screen with indicators for Chlorine Output, Super Chlorinate, Check Salt, and No Flow, and offers an understandable salt level diagnosis. An output adjustment button allows for chlorine output regulation, and a super chlorinate button increases sanitization production for high chlorine demand.

The LM3-24 plumbs into either 1-1/2" or 2" Schedule 40 PVC piping for the best operation, and provides a maximum chlorine output of 24 grams per hour. It runs at a minimum flow rate of 20 GPM with a maximum pressure of 40 PSI, and operates at 220 volts while drawing 3 amps. The LM3-24 salt cell must be installed horizontally with its 2" ports facing downward. It measures 15-1/2" (l) x 5-3/4" (w) x 6-1/2" (h).

I replaced an old LM2 unit with this unit. Took me less than 2hrs total to install. The O ring where the element inserts can be a little difficult to keep in place unless you use some silicone grease. It would have been goog if it came with a small amount of this.

This is an updated version of the previous LM2 line. The controller is basically unchanged while the salt cell has been updated. I much prefer the removable element for cleaning - just unscrews and comes out the end of the housing - the old LM2 element was much more difficult to clean. If you live in an area with high mineral content you will get a lot of build up especially at higher summer temps - this can all but clog the cell membranes and radically lower output. Being able to access the whole .. more
