Very well made, strong. I had to cut a few inches off of risers to make fit to my deck, easy enough for a good fit. No molding ridges or nipples on underside(smooth) of bottom step which is nice, I did get the rubber under-pad for protection before knowing(better safe than sorry) . I wouldn't recommend for a short family because like stated before.. steps are a bit taller than norm.

Awesome Ladder!

I also needed something heavy duty because my sister weighs 400 lbs and occasionally likes to swim with us. Even though it has a weight limit of 350 lbs, this ladder supports .. more

for above ground pools, you can get ladders that have 2 posts to connect to the deck or a platform that sits on the deck. Platforms are more stable. But for a post type, these are pretty good...they are steel but not stainless steel

I had difficulty climbing out of the pool. I measured the depth between the steps and it is 13", which is 2" more than most pool ladders which are only 11". Because of this I am looking for a replacement. It is too bad because the quality and strength of the ladder is very good.
