Easy update, works great

I bought this kit to upgrade a Jandy board that was installed in 2006. The installation was easy. I first took the time to understand what all of the existing connections and relays were for, since the connector layout on this new PCB was a bit different than the old. I labeled everything, and took lots of pictures. When I did the actual installation, it was a snap! The iAqualink WiFi receiver was very simple to set up and register by plugging it into my Windows PC, and I have the remote app .. more

The product installed perfectly. Configuring the iQ900 (wireless) went exactly as described in the instructions. Desktop and mobile app worked perfectly, My system is a Pool/Spa with 1 heater, values actuators, blowers, lights etc. A fairly complex system.

Great product and easy to install. The J-Box must be within 45 feet of the wireless signal, so you may need a wireless repeater depending on where your router is located. Leslie's Pool Supply offered installation of this product for ~$1,300 (our old circuit board was installed in 1999). If you have 2-3 hours available and enjoy easy to mildly difficult do-it-yourself projects, my advice would be to install it yourself.

Very easy to install. Replacing old control board was straightforward. The only thing the installation instructions and owners manual did not specify was whether the wire running to the wireless transmitter (which is supposed to be placed a few feet from the equipment to avoid electrical interference) needs to be buried underground. When I went to a local electrical supply store they recommended that it should and suggested I place if in conduit as well. Even with that it still only took about 2 .. more

Took me about 90 minutes to install and another 90 minutes to fine tune the iPad. Once you set up one device the others will be synced up as well when you log in. Great price and a good update for my pool. Was using the service box for about two years to control everything ever since the PDA died and now wife is happy to control the pool again. Momma happy, everybody happy.
