DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I purchased this pump 2 years ago and its done! Seals went bad and ruined the motor, 3yr warranty but does not cover seals, really? When it worked it was great, low energy consumption, quiet however no longevity! I finally got a hold of Hayward after waiting forever and luckily they agreed to send me the parts to repair it, only thing is I got a feeling that in another 2 years I will be buying a new pump all over again. Energy savings are fantastic but whats the point when .. more

Bought this pump to conserve energy. 2 years and it's done. There is no payback and Hayward pump support is impossible to get during this time of year. Hours on hold 2 emails and nothing. Please spend your money on a reliable product with real technical support.

Controller board died after 18 months
Hayward can build pumps, but can't build electronics. Controller died 18 months after purchase, and costs over $400 to replace. Horrible engineering. Customer service said it must have gotten wet or too hot - dah.- you think?? It's a pump and it runs outside in the sun. Run away. Run away.

Motor and controller replaced under warranty last season (2013). Now motor is going out again. Maybe bearings? No more warranty! Terrible. When it worked I liked it.

Great pump and best price
Pump works perfect, was easy to install once I realized I needed a riser (available from Hayward) to fit my existing Pentair plumbing. Purchase went very smooth and price couldn't be beat.
